Calandra is a cardigan knitted from the bottom up. The steek technique knits in the round,
making it easier to create jacquard patterns.
The neckline and armhole steeks are then opened to knit the neckband and sleeves. The
various techniques involved are explained in videos.
The jacquard patterns are available in color or black & white diagrams, so you can personalize
them with your choice of colors.
This pattern was knitted with wool from sheep raised in France (La ferme des Belines) and
dyed by Baba Wool.

This collaboration was an opportunity to showcase French producers and artisans. You can find the different colors dyed for the occasion on the Baba Wool website.
It can be knitted in a variety of contrasting or two-tone colors, with or without buttonholes.
