Izalda is a two-color asymmetrical triangular shawl. Composed of sections of moss stitch and single- and two-tone lace, it is knitted from the tip, with increases achieved in a fast, even rhythm using a throw.

Alternating sections and colors make knitting fun and enjoyable. Few yarns need to be tucked in, despite the color changes (unused yarn can be traced along the edge for a few rows, and links to explanatory videos are provided).

Instructions are given row by row in the form of a table, which also indicates the color worked and the total number of stitches. This makes it easy to find your way around.

A big, cozy, warm and light shawl (300g), it measures 82,6” across and 37,4” deep.

These measurements are easily modified by reducing the number of rows in the second-to-last and last sections, if you want a smaller shawl, or if you have less yardage.

The shawl pattern created for the Make A Long de Noël event is now available. This event, organized in collaboration with baba Wool and Le crochet de Mamily, brought knitters and crocheters together around two shawl patterns, one knitted by me and the other crocheted by Le crochet de Mamily. For this Baba Wool offers three colors, and I chose the Glaciale theme (you'll find links to their respective boutiques below).
To knit it, I used the wonderful 100% BFL wools dyed by Baba Wool. You can find the different colors proposed for the Christmas Make A Long on their online store, and the pattern for the Sienna crochet shawl on Le crochet de Mamily's Ravelry store.
